Awesome Spring Bunny

Good morning! Today I'm sharing a card using some fun Spring theme goodies from Lil' Inker Designs - and news on an AWESOME freebie that you can grab with qualifying purchase through the end of the month! I have actually used the freebie on my card that I'm sharing today! :)

For this card today, I started off with the adorable bunny from Rustic Spring Stamp set. I love how the coordinating Rustic Spring Dies cut out the arms as well, which make it perfect for tucking the little bouquet of flowers in its hands as well!

I colored it up with Copics, then added a frame using the Instant Camera Die and kraft paper.

Next I layered up lots of yummy pattern paper from a couple of spring Authentique paper pads. I die cut some with Silly Stitched Die set for the green panel, and created a banner by die cutting Anytime Tag Die Set 2 and trimming it in half, tucking it behind the photo frame so that it looks much longer than it actually is. I punched a couple holes through that part and tied some jute twine through them.

I added my sentiment by die cutting the Awesome Word (one of the freebies) 3 times from white cardstock and layering it up for more dimension, then adding an additional sentiment from the coordinating Hello Awesome Stamp set (the other half of the freebie).

Finished off with a white cardbase that I used Quilted Stitched Pattern Die on for a bit of texture, and some foam adhesive under the photo frame and the bunny.

This card just feels like spring to me - and I don't know about you, but I am ready for spring!

Love and Hugs Birds - Simon Says Stamp Card

Hello! Back to share another card using some fun Simon Says Stamp stamp sets that have been a bit neglected in my stash! I really enjoyed playing a bit more with the fun

As a side note: I also had tons of fun photographing this card - one of my first using some of my BRAND new Photography Boards from Photoboards! I finally decided to order some of them last week, imagine my surprise when they arrived here from the UK in less than a week! I have taken a few photos and am in LOVE with them so far! This one uses the 40cm Cement Photo Boards.

For this card, I started with a white panel cut with Stitched Rectangles Dies. I laid a die cut Stitched Window on it, then arranged and stamped 4 of the little birdies from Fingerprint Doodles in the windows, using a fun rainbow of SSS inks to stamp the fingerprints. I then die cut two more Stitched Window from black cardstock, layered them together, and added the white frame over the top. This gave such a subtle but lovely shadow effect to the window - LOVE it!

Added a sentiment underneath using Love and Friendship, then layered some Echo Park 6x6 pattern paper underneath, and mounted the front panel with foam adhesive.

Taller Than the Trees - Technique Tuesday Card

Good morning! So...you may have noticed me posting some cards in recent days using Technique Tuesday products - and there is a good reason for it! I'm happy and honored to share today that I'm joining the Technique Tuesday Design Team! Check out this fabulous line-up:

Technique Tuesday won me over with their adorable critters and super cute punny sentiments - but I also fell in love with some of the different styles of stamps and dies they offer! So...I thought I'd share a card today using some of those!

I used Taller than Trees die to cut my tree silhouette, then added a "moon" behind it using Circles Dies. I thought it was fun to reverse and use green for the background with a brighter silhouette of the trees. I also added some white stars to the sky that are part of Taller than Trees. Sentiment is from Walk in the Woods, stamped and heat embossed in white on the largest die from Hexagon Steel dies. I trimmed off the top of the the shape and attached it with foam adhesive over my scene, and added some rustic jute twine to finish off my card! Great card for a guy, or a non-girly girl don't you think?

Winnie and Walter 4th Birthday Bash Hop

Good morning! Welcome to the fun Winnie and Walter 4th Birthday Bash Celebrating Love and Friendship! There is a fabulous line-up of talent with lots of inspiration, and also some great prizes up for grabs! So make sure and hop along and visit each stop along the way! You should have arrived here from the lovely Laura Bassen - if not, feel free to head back to the Winnie and Walter Blog to start at the beginning!

I paired up one of the lovely new floral stamp sets from the latest release, with the new Catherine Pooler Inks that are now being carried in the Winnie and Walter Store! They are so fun and amazing - definitely in love with them! I used them here both for stamping the florals, and for the ink smooshing for my watercolor background:

I started off by stamping the florals from In Bloom: Ashlee's Rosie Posies with Lydia Evans using Tiara, Orange Twist, and Rockin' Red. The leaves used a combination of Lime Rickey and Grass Skirt. I die cut them all out with the Coordinating Dies. I used Fiesta Blue to do some ink smooshing on watercolor paper to form my background, then used Press and Seal to arrange the florals to where I was happy, pick them up and turn over to apply adhesive, then to press into place.

I matted that panel with Simon Says Stamp Orange Peel cardstock, and mounted on a cardbase made with Green Apple cardstock. I stamped my "beautiful" sentiment in black on white cardstock and die cut out, then die cut the same shape twice more from black cardstock,t hen layered them together. This makes it a bit more dimensional, and makes the underneath pop a bit more! I also heat embossed a bit of an additional sentiment from the set on black cardstock, and attached those with foam adhesive.

GIVEAWAY info: Since this is a 4th birthday celebration, there are FOUR gift certificates valued at $40 each up for grabs to be chosen from comments left along the hop. Comments can be left through the end of the month (February 28, 2018 by 11:59 PM CST) and will be announced on the Winnie and Walter Blog after that. Thank You Florals - Reverse Confetti SFYTT

Good morning! Stopping by with a card this morning for this month's Reverse Confetti SFYTT (stands for Sketch For You To Try) - I hope you'll come play along with us!

Here is a peek at this month's sketch - you can find it HERE:

I decided to do some very soft and simple no-line Copic coloring on my card today. Definitely new territory for me, but these were nice and simple and fun - and I LOVE the finished effect!

I used some of the florals from Banner in Bloom, die cut with the coordinating Banner in Bloom Confetti Cuts. I stamped them in Stone Dye ink, then colored with a single color of Copic - except the gray for which I used two and blended. I used Navy Dye ink to stamp the sentiment. I layered those together with foam adhesive for lots of texture with some scallop circles cut from Circles N Scallops. Finished off with some pattern paper from Every Little Bit 6x6 paper pad, and some Nuvo Drops!

Here are the Reverse Confetti products I used on this card - click on the picture if you want to learn more about any of these items!
